![]() ![]() Certain ships excel at certain activities and you'll need to be smart about how you approach things. What profession you decide to take on in the game depends on your choices. One person mans the helm, the other can do things like aim turrets or pilot fighters in combat. Assuming one of you has a ship with enough room for a crew, one of you can embark on the other's ship and fly together that way. The former lets you fly together, watching each other's backs and keeping yourselves company out in the desolate void. As long as you hit 75% throttle before 0:06/:0:07 you'll make it.If you have friends who play, or you meet some along the way, Elite: Dangerous offers two forms of co-op: wings and multi-crew. ![]() I've also found out this works for those random signals you find while in supercruise. If you just wait out after the 0:06, (providing your timing was accurate, though I find :07 to be safer, :06 there's a very small margin of not making it) you should match out your speed and distance without having to do anything else, every time. I've used this trick for years and it still works great, though I normally do not bother with increasing the throttle back to 100%, as it seems a bit counter-producitve to what I orginally wanted from this trick: supercrusing with as little throttle changing as possible. ![]() Then slowly increase the throttle back to 100% keeping the speed and distance indicators together to hit 1Mm/s at the same time as hitting 1Mm." "Travel at 100% throttle and reduce to 75% before seeing 0:06 seconds remaining. You can't make supercruise itself faster, but there is a trick to travel at full speed and jump out without over/under shooting it.Īll you need to do is bind one key for 100% throttle, and another at 75%.
